JOYCEMINT MUSIC & ARTS (“JOYCEMINT”) TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Fees & Deposit
Upon successful registration, a non-refundable registration fee of RM50 and a deposit equivalent to one (1) month fee shall be fully paid. Fees will be charged on a pro-rata basis for enrollment during the middle of the term/month.
The deposit shall at all times be maintained at an amount equivalent to one (1) month of the student’s most recent fee as determined in accordance with the Fee Table.
The full term/monthly fee shall be payable irrespective of the number of lessons given during the term/ month. No replacement classes will be given for any classes that happen to fall on a public holiday or Joycemint’s term break.
One (1) term consists of THREE (3) MONTHS, which is inclusive of public holidays and Joycemint’s term break.
In the event of temporarily discontinuation from classes exceeding one (1) term, the non-refundable registration fee of RM50 shall be payable upon re-registration.
2. Delay In Payment
We will require term fee and monthly fee to be paid no later than 7 days after the start of a new term/ new month. Any payment outstanding after the due date will be charged a late fee of RM50.
3. Cancellation/ Replacement Class
Students are entitled for replacement classes up to maximum of two (2) times in a term. In order to arrange for replacement class, students are required to give not less than five (5) calendar days of advance notice for any cancellation of class failing which Joycemint reserves the right to charge the fee in full and students are not entitled to any replacement class.
Group classes are not entitled to any replacement.
4. Leave from school
Students are allowed to apply for a maximum of one (1) month leave within a term while retaining their respective time slot. Application for leave must be made in writing at least one (1) month prior to the start of the leave. Should the student apply for leave at the start of the term, the term fee will be reduced by the length of the leave. Should the student apply for the leave after paying the full term fee, a credit will be given to the next term’s fee.
Should the student fail to provide sufficient notice, no leave will be granted. If the student wishes to apply for more than one (1) month leave, credit will only be given for the first month of leave and replacement classes will be given for the remaining leave. The current time slot might also be freed up at management’s discretion.
One (1) month notice should be given for withdrawal, failing which Joycemint reserves the right to forfeit the deposit. The one (1) month deposit shall be deemed as fee for the final month.
Deposit that remained uncollected three (3) months from the date of notice of withdrawal shall be forfeited.
Joycemint shall under no circumstances be liable for any injury, loss or damage whatsoever suffered or incurred resulting from the negligence act of its students in the Premise of Joycemint.
Joycemint shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from the delay or failure to perform any or all of these terms and conditions where such delay or failure shall be due to causes beyond its control including without limitation to war, riots, acts of God, fire, floods and other natural calamities.
The transfer of rights and obligations under these terms and conditions to any other students is strictly prohibited without prior written consent of Joycemint.
Joycemint shall have the right to, from time to time, amend these terms and conditions as deemed fit.
